Roswell residents can receive distance Reiki sessions and tailored flower essence blends without leaving home, held with the same presence as a session shared in the same room.
One of Georgia's larger cities, Roswell follows the Chattahoochee River past the ruins of Roswell Mill and Vickery Creek into a walkable historic district on Canton Street, and its riverside trails and settled, family-centered neighborhoods have grown a steady appetite for yoga, meditation, and energy healing.
Evening traffic on Georgia 400 turns a short trip home into a long one, and few people want to head back out afterward. Sessions given at a distance ask only for a quiet room, so the hour after a commute stays yours. Anything you order is blended in Michigan and mailed, with no errand attached.
Roswell exists because of one man's eye for water power. In 1830 Roswell King passed through this stretch of north Georgia and saw the potential of Vickery Creek for a cotton mill; in 1835 he and his son Barrington bought land from the original lottery owners and founded both a manufacturing company and the town named after him. Vickery Creek was dammed in 1836, and Roswell Manufacturing became one of the first industrial centres in Georgia and the largest cotton mill in the state before the Civil War. The mills, built in 1839 and 1853, were burned by Union forces on July 7, 1864; the 1853 mill was rebuilt and worked until fire took it again in 1926. The town sat in Cobb County until 1932, when it was annexed to Fulton.
