🌐 Distance Healing & Shipped ProductsFlower Essence Therapy & Reiki in Ketchum
In Ketchum and the Sun Valley area, distance Reiki and flower essences complement an already wellness-rich community, reaching clients between mountain seasons and busy resort weeks.
Tucked at the base of Bald Mountain in the Wood River Valley, Ketchum is the gateway to Sun Valley, where ski culture meets a notably deep healing scene of sound-bath studios, float therapy, reiki-offering spas, and even a local crystal healing room.
Plenty of Wood River Valley residents split the year between here and somewhere else, following snow, work, or family. Remote sessions follow a person rather than an address, so a booking holds whether the week starts in the valley or far from it. Digital attunement material travels in a pocket and stays with the client permanently.
The town was named Leadville in 1880, when it was a smelting centre for the Warm Springs mining district, and renamed for David Ketchum, a trapper who had staked claims in the basin. The Philadelphia Smelter worked a great deal of lead and silver through the 1880s. By 1920 Ketchum was the largest sheep-shipping centre in the West, and herds still move through the Wood River Valley to high pasture in the Pioneer, Boulder and Sawtooth mountains. The Union Pacific built Sun Valley alongside it in 1936. Ernest Hemingway lived above the Big Wood River in his last years and is buried in Ketchum Cemetery.
