🌐 Distance Healing & Shipped ProductsFlower Essence Therapy & Reiki in Ames
Custom flower essence blends and remote Reiki sessions reach Ames residents at home or on campus, carrying the same gentle attention as an in-person sitting.
Home to Iowa State University and the quiet trails of Ada Hayden Heritage Park, Ames blends college-town energy with a research-minded community, supporting a lively scene of yoga studios, meditation circles, and wellness practitioners.
Campustown empties in summer and fills again in August, and much of the population here is passing through on a four-year clock. Digital attunement materials belong to you permanently, so nothing is lost when a lease ends or a degree finishes. Distance sessions carry over to the next address just as easily.
Ames is built around Iowa State University, and its best open space carries the name of one of the university's own. Ada Hayden Heritage Park on Grand Avenue covers four hundred and thirty acres and is named for Ada Hayden, the first woman to take a doctorate from what was then Iowa State College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts. The land was Hallet's Quarry before the city took ownership in January 2002 and opened it to the public in July 2004, which is why the park's centrepiece is a deep former quarry lake rather than a natural one. The water, restored prairie and wetland around it make it one of the better birding sites in Story County, and it sits far enough north of campus to feel like open country.
