Rowlett lies about 20 minutes from downtown Dallas, and its lakefront stretches across two peninsulas. A distance session lets you receive an attunement at home in Rowlett, without adding another drive to your day.
The city takes its name from a creek that in turn honors an early Kentucky settler. Rowlett began as a tiny cotton-gin town, and its growth took off after the Lake Ray Hubbard reservoir was completed in 1971. The water that arrived in 1971 reshaped Rowlett from a small gin town into the lakefront community its residents know today. The southeast side of Rowlett is still rebuilding after an EF4 tornado struck on the day after Christmas in 2015. For anyone in Rowlett still carrying that day, a quiet session at home offers a gentle way to rest while rebuilding continues.
