Wild God Empowerment

Awaken the Wild God Within was founded by Linda Kaye and Rosemary Noel, and its introduction sets the tone with Thoreau: what lies before us and behind us are small matters compared with what lies within us, and when we bring what is within us out into the world, miracles happen.

The empowerment is described as an awakening of the senses and a sexual awakening, intended to liven up your love life in a way that carries over into your social life and your work. The manual argues that every man has an inner wild god longing to be released, and that the first step is giving yourself permission to release whatever is holding you back.

Its practical teaching is about self-consciousness. If you are working to project an image of yourself, you are probably disconnected from your own wild and sensual essence, and when you are in that essence there is no trying and no self-consciousness left. Before any of that, the manual asks you to set body image aside, since beauty comes in every shape and size, and to look at the limiting beliefs learned in childhood.

The starting practice is a spoken release. Once you are aware of them and have let them go, you are free to work on yourself, and the Wild God Workshop material takes it from there.
