🌐 Distance Healing & Shipped ProductsFlower Essence Therapy & Reiki in Solvang
Remote Reiki sessions and hand-blended flower essences reach Solvang by post, offered gently to a valley village built deliberately in the image of somewhere else.
A Santa Barbara County village in the Santa Ynez Valley, small, walkable and surrounded by vineyard and ranch country, which suits calm, unhurried routines.
The village is compact enough to cross on foot, and the coast is over the pass rather than out the window. A session received at home suits a place organized around walking. Essences and aura sprays are blended to order in Michigan and mailed.
Solvang lies in the Santa Ynez Valley of Santa Barbara County, about two hours northwest of Los Angeles and inland from the coast, with roughly six thousand residents. On January 12, 1911, a group of Danish-American educators founded it on nine thousand acres surrounding the historic Old Mission Santa Ines, intending a community where they could keep their language, Lutheran faith and culture. The Danish-style architecture that now defines it came later, through the middle of the twentieth century, driven by both tourism and heritage preservation. Six windmills stand in the village. The first was built in 1922 by J. C. Wulff on Fredensborg Canyon as a working well for his farm, and four of the six were raised by Ferdinand Sorensen after a trip to Denmark in the mid-1940s.
