We send distance Reiki, custom essence blends, and aura sprays to St. Michaels, supporting a calmer nervous system and steadier emotional footing for those living the gentle rhythm of Chesapeake Bay life.
A sailing haven on the Miles River, St. Michaels is known for the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum, waterfront inns, and slow, restorative weekends. The town's tie to tide and water encourages unhurried, mindful living that our remote sessions and flower essences gently reinforce.
Working boats and skipjacks still tie up along the harbor, and the town swells with visitors every weekend from May onward. Support delivered remotely keeps its own quieter rhythm through the busy months, and essences mixed to order in Michigan arrive by post, whatever the tide is doing.
The town takes its name from the Episcopal parish of St. Michael the Archangel, established here in 1677. On August 10, 1813 Admiral George Cockburn's fleet attacked, and the local story is that residents dimmed the lights and hung lanterns high in the trees so the British guns overshot, which earned the town the nickname the town that fooled the British at its 1963 sesquicentennial. By the late nineteenth century most households worked oysters out of the Miles River and Eastern Bay or shucked them on the waterfront. The Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum opened in 1965 on old packing house ground and keeps the Hooper Strait Lighthouse and the bugeye Edna E. Lockwood.
