Wilsonville straddles the Willamette River between Clackamas and Washington counties, home to Graham Oaks Nature Park and miles of restored oak-savanna trail. Its riverside parks and family-friendly calm make space for the reflective, holistic wellness Prismatic offers.
SMART buses run fare-free through the city, an unusual arrangement for a town this size, while the Charbonneau District keeps its own quiet life on the river's south bank. Distance sessions sidestep the I-5 corridor entirely. Essence blends go out from our Michigan bench by mail, direct to your door.
Alphonso Boone, a grandson of Daniel Boone, came over the Applegate Trail in 1846 with a large family, and by 1847 they were running a cable ferry across the Willamette here with local Tualatin people at the oars. Boone's Landing grew on the north shore. The ferry was part of the main road linking early Portland with the government at Champoeg and later Salem, and it ran for a hundred and seven years carrying horses, cattle, buggies, cars and people before it was decommissioned in 1954 after the Boone Bridge opened. The town lost the Boone name in 1880 when it was renamed for its first postmaster, Charles Wilson, and residents voted to incorporate in 1968.
