🌐 Distance Healing & Shipped ProductsFlower Essence Therapy & Reiki in Abiquiu
Remote Reiki sessions and custom flower essence blends travel to Abiquiu by mail, offered with patience in a river valley that has drawn people to sit and look for a century.
A Rio Arriba County village along the Chama, surrounded by red rock and mesa country long associated with retreat, solitude and sustained attention.
Santa Fe is over an hour south and services are thin in between, so residents plan trips rather than take them casually. Distance work removes one reason to drive. Flower essence blends are mixed by hand in Michigan and posted to your address.
Abiquiu sits in the Chama river valley of Rio Arriba County, about sixty-five miles northwest of Santa Fe. Fourteen miles from the village lies Ghost Ranch, twenty-one thousand acres now run as an education centre and retreat. Arthur Pack, a naturalist who founded the American Nature Association, bought the ranch in 1936 and gave it to the Presbyterian Church in 1955, which still operates it. Georgia O'Keeffe came at Pack's urging, fell for the country, bought a piece of the ranch, divided her years between here and New York, and eventually moved into the village of Abiquiu itself; the cliffs and mesas around it appear again and again in her paintings. In 1947 the paleontologist Edwin Colbert found more than a thousand well-preserved Coelophysis skeletons in a quarry on the ranch.
